With its partner site COMPASS, children’s COMPASS brings the collections of the British Museum into homes and schools across the globe. It is aimed at junior age children and their teachers and was developed with local schools and with input from the RNIB. The site includes a structured Search leading to information about hundreds of objects, online Tours (including some written by local community groups and a special school), noticeboards which display children’s work, an Ask the Expert facility, online games and printable activities.
